Do you sell directly to homeowners?
Yes, homeowners can buy directly from us. Your order can be picked up at our office and we will load it into your vehicle. We also offer delivery to retail customers if they place an order that is 500 Square Feet or more.
Do you offer the same seed and fertilizer you use to grow the sod?
Yes, the same products and tools that we use are available to you at our office.
I need to match my existing lawn, do you have the same sod that I have in my lawn?
We grow several varieties, one should match your existing lawn.

Isn’t seed cheaper than sod?
Yes, a 50 lb bag of seed is cheaper than a pallet of sod but that is like comparing a raw material to the finished product. Sod is a finished product that is almost immediately useable. To achieve a sod quality lawn from seed requires at least 1.5 years of fertilization, mowing, and irrigation.
What is the best time of year to install sod?
Sod can be installed at any time of the year. There is no need to wait for the “right” time to install sod. As long as the soil can be prepared, you can install sod.
Where can I install sod?
Sod can be installed anywhere, even areas where growing grass from seed is difficult. Sod prevents erosion and water pollution on slopes where rain can wash away seed and soil.
How much sod can I fit in my vehicle?
Our yard staff will load your vehicle for you in our pick up yard. Keep in mind that the weight of sod can vary greatly depending on the moisture content. Most cars can hold approximately 50 – 100 square feet. A small pick-up can carry 200 – 300 square feet and a full size pick-up can carry up to 600 square feet.
A full pallet of 400 sq. ft. can weight between 1800 – 2000 lbs and is 42″ x 42″ in size.
