Matt
A native of Lancaster County, Matt graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in Plant Science and Landscape Horticulture and a minor in Plant Biology. He was a four year letter winner for the Blue Hens baseball team. After college Matt worked at several country clubs as assistant superintendent before joining Sporting Valley. Matt worked side by side with Bob Hummer for 10 years learning the business and the many facets of sod production. Today, Matt enjoys time with his wife Allison and their daughter, Madison.
Tyson
Tyson has been working for Hummer Turfgrass Systems since 2014. He is originally from Bloomsburg, PA and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bloomsburg University and an Associate degree in Agronomy from Horry Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, SC. Prior to Hummer, Tyson accumulated over 12 years of experience in golf course management by working courses in South Carolina, Colorado and Pennsylvania. Tyson’s strong agronomic background and his eagerness for growth both in business and personally have made him an important asset to Hummer Turfgrass. In addition to all his professional successes he has the joy of being married to his lovely wife Andrea and they are the happy parents to their son, River.
Drew
Born and raised in Lancaster County, Drew graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1992 with a degree in Landscape Contracting. He has worked in the landscape industry for 27 years as a Salesman/Designer and Director of Sales for a large firm in Lancaster. He will continue his sales and design background here at Hummer and continue the long-standing success that Hummer as established throughout the Mid-Atlantic. He looks forward to meeting the expectations and satisfaction that Bob Hummer gave him as a customer. He currently lives in Lititz, PA with his wife Kristin and their two children.
